Van Go Is Back-MacLaren Art Centre's Art Education Programmes

The MacLaren Art Centre has taken this past year to restructure education and is proud to announce the return of the popular VanGo programme. The MacLaren continues to create innovative programmes for the students enrolled in Simcoe county/muskoka schools. The objectives are to lead students through visual arts programmes designed to enrich the curriculum. By bringing practicing artists into the classroom, students will be introduced to a variety of art concepts, tools and techniques. This will help to encourage alternative ways of thinking, fostering creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
VanGo continues to be an innovative art education outreach program for kindergarten through grade 8. It has been designed to enhance the Ontario Curriculum: The Arts.
